Germany’s most innovative SMEs
Once again in 2024, TELENOT ELECTRONIC GmbH was included in ranking of Germany’s most innovative SMEs – for the seventh time after 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023. Every year, German weekly business news magazine “Wirtschaftswoche” and the consulting agency Munich Strategy examine the innovative strength of around 4,000 companies. This analysis is based on around 200 expert interviews with customers, market participants, and associations. These are accompanied by company interviews and surveys of managing directors and development managers.
Annual financial statements, company presentations, strategy data and press releases are also part of the survey of Germany’s most innovative SMEs.

TELENOT was the only company in the security industry to be awarded the title of “TOP Dienstleister Handel 2016” (TOP retail service provider). In addition to installing certified hazard alarm systems, TELENOT can create customized security manuals. These combine the security concept and provide a basis for planning new properties for retail companies, thus saving time and money.
Depending on the building to be secured, the security manual contains all the necessary aspects of the security technology that help protect branch-based companies effectively and reliably: In addition to fire and intrusion protection, this means, for example, access control, employee protection in the event of a hold-up, and special protection for critical areas such as cold storage cells or roller shutters, as well as the integration of shop-in-shop solutions.
Specific requirements of the respective retail partners, such as insurance requirements, are always taken into account.
TOP Produkt Handel
The ceiling detector histar DUAL 360 from TELENOT is the “Top Produkt Handel 2016” (top retail product 2016). The detector with the all-round view received the coveted silver award in the “Innovation” category. It is particularly suitable for sales areas fitted out with shelving.
For instance, if shelves or advertising panels are moved, this will quickly lead to monitoring gaps if conventional motion detectors are used. The histar DUAL 360, on the other hand, is mounted on the ceiling and can monitor an area of up to 300 square meters at a maximum installation height of five meters. It registers intruders via the infrared heat radiation emitted by the human body. It also used special microwave technology. The alarm is only triggered when both detection types react (hence the name DUAL – for “two”).
The detected signals are evaluated using a specially developed XTRAP technology (Extended Threshold Regulated Algorithm with Power Management).
