As a leading manufacturer of electronic security technology, TELENOT not only has close ties with planners, architects, and security managers in commercial and industrial facilities: partnerships with trade associations, insurance companies, or law enforcement agencies also contribute to making electronic security technology from TELENOT the standard in the security industry – for the benefit and security of companies, property developers, owners, or policyholders.

E-brand partnership

TELENOT is a premium brand partner of the largest nationwide association in the electrical installation sector, the Zentralverband der Deutschen Elektro- und Informationstechnischen Handwerke (ZVEH). This makes TELENOT a key part of this largest industry-wide quality alliance of the German electrical trade in the field of electronic security technology and alarm systems.

ZVEH itself brings together approximately 21,000 electrical trade companies, 330 guilds, and 12 regional associations under its umbrella, of which over 7,500 are qualified electrical brand specialist installers. By appointing TELENOT as an e-brand partner in the area of electronic security technology and alarm systems, ZVEH is following TELENOT’s stringent policy of only using tested and certified products.

EHI Retail Institute

Numerous chain stores, associations, and organizations in the retail sector are reacting to the increasing incidence of intrusions and retail theft. For example, the EHI Retail Institute cooperates with TELENOT as a multi-award-winning manufacturer of security solutions for these target groups. The EHI is a Cologne-based research and educational institute for the retail sector and its partners. It is supported by retail companies and associations and funded by manufacturers of consumer and capital goods.

The EHI network comprises around 770 members worldwide. These member companies have the option of having their business checked free of charge for security vulnerabilities. In addition, TELENOT, together with its authorized partners, provides on-site advice on all aspects of building protection and looks after the planning and installation of certified hazard alarm systems. This also includes creating customized security manuals. Countless well-known retail groups and chain stores rely on this know-how and on the excellent TELENOT security technology.

Insurance companies

Insurance companies also increasingly rely on security technology that delivers on its promises. Damage caused by intrusion costs them more than 600 million euros annually. As a result, ERGO, one of the largest insurance companies in Germany, SIGNAL IDUNA, and Badische Versicherung have brought TELENOT on board as a security partner for private and corporate customers. The incentive for policyholders: they are often granted a discount of up to 10% on their homeowners insurance when proof of a TELENOT alarm system installed by a specialist is provided. Companies and commercial operations benefit in particular from the outstanding expertise of authorized TELENOT partners. They ensure that the planning conforms to the guidelines and complies with insurance and building regulations.

K-EINBRUCH

TELENOT supports the nationwide publicity campaign “K-EINBRUCH” (no to intrusion) in Germany.
To provide even more information than previously on the subject of intrusion protection and, in particular, suitable security technology, the police crime prevention department launched this publicity campaign in the fall of 2012. It is supported by numerous partners from the business world.

The initiative’s most important campaign is “Burglary Prevention Day.” Under the slogan “One hour more for more security,” this takes place every year on the day of the time changeover, when daylight saving time in Central Europe ends. The campaign encourages people to use the extra hour gained in this way to learn more about intrusion protection and thus make buildings even more secure.

Educational institutions

TELENOT knows the security industry better than most. The Swabian manufacturer has been producing smart and certified security technology at the highest level for over 50 years. Electrical companies and future electricians can benefit enormously from this. This is particularly true when it comes to linking recognized security technology and smart applications such as KNX, myGEKKO, and many more.

TELENOT offers perfect and sustainable conditions for combining the elements of energy management, security, and living comfort in the domestic and commercial sectors.

As a manufacturer of professional and certified security technology, TELENOT cooperates with chambers of trade and educational institutions to promote and support them in the context of training and further education. TELENOT has designed training packages to teach specialist expertise in the practical part of this training:

  • Intruder alarm technology area
  • IAS radio training system (compact easy)
  • IAS building technology training system (complex 400H)
  • IAS training system (hiplex 8400H)

  • Fire detection technology area
  • FAS training system (hifire 4100)
  • FDAS training system Loop (hifire 4400)

Each training package contains vouchers for a free product training course “Made by TELENOT.” In this way, trainers can be instructed directly by TELENOT to become alarm system professionals and are therefore fully equipped to teach the complex content in class.

The TELENOT trainers who teach the necessary knowledge for the specialist qualification for intrusion and hazard alarm systems are professionals with practical experience. They know exactly how security technology works and how it is produced, planned, installed, and maintained. TELENOT wants to share this know-how in a practical and consistent way to all junior staff in training institutions for the electrical trade.
