In addition, the alarm system app BuildSec 4.0 offers extensive switching functions for smart home and building control applications, such as garage gate open/closed, outside light on/off, blinds up/down, and much more. Highly secure and reliable, whether you are visiting friends, sitting in a theater, enjoying a meal in a restaurant, or traveling abroad.

Quick and convenient setup

The digital platform hiXserver acts as a switching server connected to the network, to which all participating communication partners can establish an outgoing connection. This helps to avoid various problems that often occur when you set up remote service or operation via app – e.g., public IP address, secure corporate networks, and different routers. What’s more, no elaborate adjustments and analyses of the network infrastructure or adjustments to the hardware (router, etc.) are necessary.


Even the replacement of hardware, such as the router in an existing alarm system, has no effect on remote service or mobile control functions via app.
The only requirement is that the system is connected to the router (via LAN or WLAN) or the Internet.

Secure end-to-end encryption

hiXserver uses highly secure TLS encryption (Transport Layer Security) for communication. If necessary, the user side can connect to the hiXserver via a control channel. This connection is only established if the aspects of “confidentiality,” “authenticity,” and “integrity” have been ensured. These points are checked with the help of certificate-based authentication of both communication partners. Only then do the two communication partners connect on another channel. This is implemented using AES encryption (Advanced Encryption Standard), which is considered one of the most secure encryption methods.

Sensitive data securely protected

At no time does the digital platform hiXserver contain sensitive information about the status of the intruder and hazard alarm system, such as the setting state. All system and property information is exchanged exclusively between the terminals in an anonymized and highly secure format. With hiXserver, access to user profiles or data manipulation are excluded.
