Audible warning devices – loud warnings

TELENOT’s audible warning devices have enough volume that they can be heard even in very loud environments. The acoustic power is measured to ensure that they are much louder than environmental noises such as conversations, noises made by machines, or other daily background noises. The selection of a suitable audible warning device will depend on the specific requirements and characteristics of the building in question.

Which audible warning devices are available?

TELENOT offers a wide range of audible warning devices for fire detection and alarm systems, using loop or conventional connections. Both versions serve to alert people on site to danger and facilitate quick evacuation of the building.

Warning devices for connecting to a loop

TELENOT’s Type 4487 audible warning devices can be easily integrated into a fire detection and alarm system via Loop 4000. They emit an alarm that reaches a maximum volume of 93 dB(A). This is roughly equivalent to the volume reached by a pneumatic hammer

Warning devices for connection with conventional systems

The audible warning devices Symphoni Low Power and Symphoni High Output can be connected to a fire detection and fire alarm system conventionally. Both feature a particularly loud alarm. The Symphony High Output can alert people to danger at a maximum volume of 112 dB(A). That’s louder than a buzz saw. Both models feature the option to set different alarms. In addition, TELENOT offers the fire alarm sounder Roshni and the base sounder Squashni for mounting on the wall or ceiling. These models allow the user to select between 32 different alarms that can reach volumes of up to 99 dB(A) or 91 dB(A) respectively.
