The mechatronic locking elements hilock 2200 are used to open and close a door. Mechatronic locking elements include digital lock cylinders and digital door handles with an integrated RFID reader.

The mechatronic locking elements add intelligent access to the TELENOT intruder and hazard alarm control panels. If an authorized transponder is read, the knob module couples into the lock cylinder if digital lock cylinders are used, and you can unlock or lock the door. If digital door handles are used, the door handle couples in. The mechatronic locking elements are suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Mechatronic locking elements with degree of protection IP66 (variant with all-weather protection) are available especially for outdoor applications.

The mechatronic locking elements hilock 2200 are used to realize two applications.

Connection with a hazard and intruder alarm system

The mechatronic locking element uses the built-in RFID reader to record transponder data, which it then transmits wirelessly to the transceiver hilock 203 / 213. The use of a digital lock cylinder or door handle avoids the complex installation and activation of a blocking element and a door strike.

The transceiver hilock 203 / 213 is connected to the intruder alarm control panel via the com2BUS. The hilock 213 UFM transceiver is wirelessly connected to the intruder alarm control panel. The connection with the IACP has the benefit that the transponders can be parameterized using the IACP parameterization software. In this way, transponders can be changed, deleted, or added either on site or by remote service. Authorizations can also be assigned to individual transponders later on.

During operation, a distinction is made between presenting the transponder to the mechatronic locking element briefly or for a longer period. As a result, authorizations such as setting/unsetting and access authorization are possible with the same transponder.

Stand-alone solutions

In the stand-alone application, the mechatronic locking element is built into a door. The transponders can be managed directly in the internal memory of the digital lock cylinder or digital door handle. Access control for up to 1,000 authorizations is possible in stand-alone operation.

General advantages: digital lock cylinders

• Visual signaling of operating states by LEDs
• Audible signaling by means of built-in buzzer
• Battery capacity depends on usage behavior (approx. 1 year for 4,000 actuations,
approx. 1.5 years for 2,000 actuations)
• A signal is output when approx. 1,000 actuations remain
• Available with different diameters for indoor and outdoor applications
• Suitable for installation in profile cylinder locks
• Suitable for fire doors
• Approval for various panic locks

General advantages: digital door handles

  • Visual signaling of operating states by LEDs
  • Audible signaling by means of built-in buzzer
  • Battery sufficient for approx. 25,000 actuations
  • A battery replacement signal is output when approx. 1,000 actuations remain
  • Battery replacement is possible in the built-in state
  • Modular design for doors from 30 to 110 mm
  • A choice of different handle types
  • Choose between round or oval rosette
