How do access control readers work?
TELENOT uses transponder technology for the access control readers of the cryplock series. If a transponder chip is held up to a reader, the authorization of the transponder is queried in encrypted form using the radio frequency identification method (RFID). If this authorization is granted, the door is unlocked. For devices equipped with a numeric-pad reader, a numerical code can also be entered as an option. Particularly practical: In addition to access control, a hazard alarm system can be operated in this way.
Ready for use in wind and weather
The elimination of all mechanical moving parts guarantees that the cryplock access control reader will function reliably in all weather conditions, especially during the colder seasons. Therefore, they can be used in unprotected areas outdoors without any problems. This is made possible by the fully encapsulated electronics, among other things.
