hilock 5500 serves as an access control unit for a TELENOT access control system that stores all the personal authorizations for the access points and associated events.

Thanks to SD card technology, commissioning is quick and easy. The access control system can be individually adapted to the specific requirements of properties using various expansion modules. Since all personal authorizations are stored in the hilock 5500, the access points can continue to operate if the Ethernet interface fails. Parameterization is performed using the management software compasZ 5500.

Linking access control and intruder alarm technology

The hilock 5500 has VdS approval as a switching device for an intruder alarm system. This allows access control and intruder alarm technology to be linked together – economically and in compliance with the requirements of property insurers.
