Key cabinets – faster access in an emergency

TELENOT’s key cabinets allow local rescue personnel to gain access to buildings faster in an emergency, including when no-one is on site to let them in. The local rescue personnel can start saving lives, extinguishing fires, or implementing other life saving measures without delay. The cabinets are designed to only allow access to authorized personnel.

Durable design with VdS approval

TELENOT’s key cabinets have a durable, multi-chamber design featuring an inner and outer door as well as a cover frame. They are in compliance with the highest FSD Class 3 and therefore enjoy VdS approval. They can be connected to a fire alarm control unit via an integrated 10m connection cable.

The key cabinet also features a property key monitoring function and integrated frontal heating. Every cabinet comes with sabotage protection for the front door. TELENOT also offers cabinets with comprehensive sabotage protection.

Varied installation options

As a general rule, key cabinets are installed in close proximity to the access point the fire brigade intends to use in an emergency, or the intended entryway. They are usually added directly to brick, concrete, or reinforced concrete walls.
TELENOT also offers vertical columns made from stainless steel for listed buildings, light weight construction, glass facades, or other types of construction that make it difficult to install a key cabinet in the wall.

Important information

TELENOT’s key cabinets are adjusted to meet specific local fire brigade requirements based on the building’s postal code. The same is true for the locking system selected. Key cabinets are thus customized and custom-made products, and only made to order. As such, they cannot be returned or exchanged.
