TELENOT’s release elements are designed as additional unlocking devices for key cabinets. They are used by local rescue personnel from the fire brigade to manually trigger the fire alarm control unit in the event of visible flames, burst water pipes, etc.
Secure connection and protection from vandalism
TELENOT’s release elements have floating outputs, so there is no direct connection to existing power supplies or grounds. This protects them from overvoltage, faults, feedback, and more. Protection against vandalism can be added to the elements on request. In this case, the element can only be opened using a special magnetic key in possession of the fire brigade, preventing manipulation of the lock cylinder with, for example, chewing gum or adhesives.
