It’s therefore important that they offer maximum operational security and minimize the risk of false alarms, which is why TELENOT’s optical smoke detectors feature intelligent reports and an automatic learn function.
Reliable fire protection
TELENOT’s optical smoke detectors reliably detect smoke in the air, triggering an alarm to warn anyone within a building that there might be a fire. The operating principle is based on rays of light within the smoke chamber, which reflects off smoke particles into a sensor that triggers the alarm. The sensitivity of the optical sensor can be adjusted manually to suit environmental conditions. The detectors can be connected to the System Loop 4000.
Wireless warnings
TELENOT’S technology used to detect smoke in wireless smoke detectors is identical with that used in conventional smoke detectors. However, they are not connected to the System Loop 4000 security solution via cable, but using wireless technology. Important: in order to ensure error-free installation, wireless coverage scanning must be carried out on the property in advance. TELENOT provides specialist installers with the software and service tools necessary to do so.
Optical smoke detector EX
Specially designed for use in explosion-hazard areas and compliant with relevant ATEX guidelines. These include, for example, durable design resistant to outside influences such as dust, humidity, or chemical substances. It is designed to make sure that no sparks or thermal effects that could create an explosive atmosphere can occur within the housing. It also features particularly sensitive optical sensor technology that can detect even small amounts of smoke.
