Our optical smoke alarm device based on conventional technology is a prime example of innovative fire-protection technology. It was specially developed for the early detection of fires and uses the scattered-light principle for precise and reliable detection of smoke from smoldering and open fires caused by the burning of plastics, organic substances, liquids, or gases. Intelligent evaluation minimizes false alarms
Another major advantage of the optical smoke alarm device is the integrated intelligent evaluation of the measuring chamber signal. This guarantees outstanding operational reliability and minimizes the risk of false alarms. It is also equipped with an alarm output that is suitable for activating a floating relay contact in the base or a parallel display. This makes it easier to integrate into existing security systems.
TELENOT smoke alarm devices are also available with wireless technology. This ensures quick and easy wireless installation. The wireless smoke alarm device can be connected to the TELENOT intruder alarm control panel complex 200H/400H with the help of the wireless gateway FGW310. The wireless smoke alarm device detects smoke generated by smoldering or open fires. If smoke enters the measuring chamber, early audible alerting and an optional voice announcement are triggered at the detector. At the same time, the alarm is transmitted to the intelligent hazard alarm control panel. In addition to visual and audible alarm indication (parameterizable with optional voice output), the FRM381 has a particularly useful integrated orientation LED, which lights up in the event of a fire.
Note!
Connecting this smoke alarm device to an intruder alarm control panel does not result in a fire detection and fire alarm system as defined by VDE 0833 part 2, DIN VDE V 0826-2, DIN 14675, or EN 54!
