The innovative mirror technology with 20 detection sectors maximizes detection reliability with a surveillance area of up to 20 meters in diameter.
Security for the strictest requirements
The histar DUAL 360 from TELENOT meets the high security standards of VdS Class C and EN 50131-2-4: Grade 2 and Grade 3. This makes it suitable not only for use in offices and supermarkets, but also for particularly vulnerable properties such as jewelry stores and banks. Dual detection technology (infrared and microwave) combined with 360-degree area surveillance can detect intruders with exceptional precision.
Maximum false alarm prevention
The histar DUAL 360 detector uses its mirror optics to detect the infrared heat radiation emitted by the human body. The XTRAP signal evaluation combines with these mirror optics to guarantee reliable detection of any intruders moving within the 360-degree surveillance area. Alarm criteria are effectively distinguished from faults. The additional built-in microwave sensor also detects movement according to the Doppler principle. The detector only sends an alarm message if both sensors are triggered.
Low current consumption
Thanks to the use of pulsed microwave technology, the current consumption of the histar DUAL 360 motion detectors is significantly lower than that of other ceiling detectors. The microwave of the detector also does not interfere with WLAN networks. To avoid any additional electromagnetic radiation, the microwave is switched off when the detector is unset. And during operation, microwave radiation is significantly below the level emitted by cellphones.
